The model
Open is just the first signal.
The signal model combines these signals into one thread health read. Each event is timestamped, geo-resolved, and attributed to the recipient and device.
- open
- Pixel + beacon fire when the message is rendered. Apple Mail prefetch is filtered out.
- click
- Each tracked link records which URL was clicked and how many times.
- reply
- Replies are detected from the open Gmail conversation and attributed to the recipient.
- location & device
- Each open and click resolves an approximate city and device — the sender's own self-opens are filtered out.
